Please DO NOT send any embosser to our facility for repair without first obtaining a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number.
Repairs covered under the original one-year factory warranty: If your Braille Embosser requires service within the warranty period and you are located in the United States, then we will cover all shipping costs. You will need to pack the embosser in it's original box and packing materials, write the RMA number we provided on the outside of the box. Then, after we receive your address and you tell us the embosser is packed and ready to be picked up, we will arrange to have your Braille Embosser picked up at your address and returned to Enabling Technologies. It takes 1 to 3 business days from the time you tell us your embosser is ready, to the time it is picked up.
Repairs not covered by factory warranty: If your Braille Embosser requires service and it is not covered by the factory warranty then you will need to pack the embosser in it's original box and packing materials, write the RMA number we provided you on the outside of the box and ship the embosser to us at the address above.
What to expect once we receive your embosser: We repair Braille Embossers in the order that we receive them. The actual repair time varies. If you have any questions on how long it may take to repair your embosser then please ask the Support Specialist who provided you with your RMA number. If your embosser is covered under factory warranty or a service maintenance agreement then your embosser will be returned as soon as the repair is completed. If your unit is not covered by factory warranty or a service maintenance agreement then we will provide you with a repair summary when the repair is completed so you may arrange to cover the cost of the repair.

Prior to the expiration of your original factory warranty Enabling Technologies will provide you with the option of purchasing an annual Service Maintenance Agreement (SMA).

Used Equipment Purchases:
To protect the privacy of our customers, Enabling Technologies does not provide any information about a used Braille Embosser to a potential buyer. If you are interested in purchasing a Braille Embosser from a private party (seller) then please contact the seller with any questions you may have regarding the Braille Embosser you are interested in purchasing.
